faten, I’m in no way judging the Jordanian women, I’m just showing how Arab women represented once as extremest and the other as a mimicked version of western women. That’s it
Thanks faten

Triplem I hope you dont think I am arguing or attacking you in anyway.
I agree with you, and with “It’s me”. Those mom’s in Jordan are totally showing off. no doubt about it. I mean did you ever order a pizza and serve it on a silver platter. I am saddened by those mothers and the Oprah producers who found them. For the misrepresentation.
They talk the talk but dont walk the walk.

You probably right, I can argue no more.

You are right Faten. In fact Triplem the comparison itself fails. How to compare and contrast western with eastern women? Surely ours r better and we don’t want to be like them. What mummies are in West. i don’t want to interfer in more details but this is life of juz few women but in my view it’s not a steryotype. Moreover the mummy with black hair talks about Islam without a veil. And what annoys me about the veiled mummy is that she she said we have American products and she prefers them more than other products. Let me say that both women underestimating Jordan. Sorry to say this but really those women in the video were just showing themselves off no more

faten, we both know its nothing compare to the truth. Its just a matter of show off, maybe to fill the gab between the Western and the Arab world. Its about showing them how women in Jordan or Kuwait look like the women in the US or Europe and that they enjoy a similar lifestyle maybe better one despite the poverty and deprivation other women forced to face everyday in other parts of the country.

Dude this is what I was talking about. I was in Jordan. I know its not common to call Domino’s if a average mom works. It is more like a treat then anything.
They should have shown Humas and foul and falafel in the brown paper bag as what most working Jordanian moms order.
That whole show ( with the other guests) sucks to be honest.
America and the world should see Jordan for what it is, a beautiful country full of culture and traditions of our own.

Yea, I found it on Oprah.com its not downloadable but I have my own ways.

Anyway, I found this video not faithful to the truth in so many ways but I thought it might be interested for so many people.
