CLIENT Osama Bukhamseen Dev., Arab Real Estate Co. , Oriental Construction Co.CHALLENGE The design challenge was to transform Kuwait’s largest and most historically significant island into a premier world class destination entertainment resort. It was the client’s desire to provide a car-free environment for visitors, and it was critical to maintain the environmental, ecological and historical integrity of the Island.SOLUTION Because of the vast size of the island, it was essential that the core areas of activity and energy be consolidated to allow visitors ease of movement, easy access to services and to various resort leisure activities.
