<p>“The Gate of Kuwait” located at an approximate original location of the historic wall is intended to be a landmark symbolizing its culture that would be ever present as viewed both from the Gulf and the City. The project is located on Al Soor Street and is being developed by Al Shaya Group Co. W.L.L. It is elegantly designed by a team of Consultants from South Africa that include LG Consulting (Engineers), GH & L (Architects), RWP (Mechanical Consultant), RPW (Electrical Consultant) DEL QS and Storm Africa (Quantity Surveyors). The Concept Design Report is very well documented and includes the architectural design along with structural/building services system and a cost estimate. A 215m tall building with an overall built up area of approx. 115,000m2 is expected to cost approx. KD25 millions excluding tenants fit out and FFE. <p>بدا التأثر جليا على قسمات وجه الفنانة اللبنانية الكبيرة ماجدة الرومي، وهي تتحدث عن موقفها مما يجري في لبنان من قتال واشتباكات بين الإخوة، وقالت، في حلقة مميزة من برنامج "العراب" الذي يبث أسبوعيا على قناة mbc، إنه لا بديل عن أن يكون بلد الأرز وطنا للجميع وليس لفريق دون آخر، مشيرة إلى أن السكين كانت مسلطة على رقبة الوطن منذ اندلاع الحرب الأهلية 1975 وما زالت مسلطة على أعناق أحلام الناس وآلامهم.وقد أشاد الإعلامي "نيشان" مقدم البرنامج بتلبية ماجدة الرومي لدعوة "العراب" في أقل من 18 ساعة، حيث كان من المقرر أن تستضيف حلقة هذا الأسبوع الفنانة الإماراتية أحلام، والفنان الأردني ياسر المصري، غير أن سيطرة مقاتلي حزب الله والمعارضة اللبنانية على محيط مطار بيروت الدولي حال دون حضور الفنانة الأحلام، وفي هذا الصدد قالت الفنانة ماجدة الرومي إنها لم تفعل سوى واجبها بحضورها إلى البرنامج؛ لتعبيرها عن موقفها مما يحدث من أوضاع صعبة في بيروت ولبنان.وكشفت ماجدة الرومي عن تعرضها لضغوط كثيرة حتى لا تشارك في برنامج "العراب"، ولكنها -بحسب قولها- أصرت على المشاركة لتعبر عن أصوات الناس الذين لا يستمع أحد لهم، وقالت إن تلك الضغوط تفاوتت بين الخوف على حياتها أو خوفا من أن تحسب على فريق سياسي معين.وشددت ماجدة على أنها ليست مع فريق لبناني دون الآخر، متمنية أن تعود أيام لبنان الجميلة عندما كان جيرانها من مختلف الطوائف يعيشون في جوار كله وئام وسلام وحب، وتمنت على الله أن يعود الأمن والمحبة للبلاد قبل أن ينتهي العمر، موجهة كلامها إلى الشباب اللبناني بقولها إنكم توجهون سلاحكم إلى صدروكم وصدور إخوتكم."لعبة الموت خدرتنا"وأبدت ماجدة تفاؤلا بمستقبل لبنان، معتبرة أن ما يحدث الآن ليس أسوأ مما مر به لبنان.. مع ذلك تم تجاوز تلك المراحل الصعبة في الماضي، وسيتم تجاوز هذه المرحلة كذلك، غير أنها أبدت خوفها من انتقال الفوضى إلى بقية الدول العربية التي تنعم بالسلام، وأبدت تضامنها مع مآسي الشعبين العراقي والفلسطيني، وقالت إن الشرق الأوسط لن ينعم بالسلام والهدوء قبل إيجاد حل عادل للقضية الفلسطينية.وفي تعبير بليغ عما يجيش بصدرها تجاه الأعداد الكبيرة من الضحايا التي باتت تسقط بشكل يومي في فلسطين والعراق، قالت ماجدة "لعبة الموت خدرتنا.. الشعوب العربية باتت مخدرة بالموت.. لم نعد نشعر بشيء عندما نسمع بموت 30 أو 40 أو 50 فلسطينيا".وقال الإعلامي نيشان إن البرنامج، ومنذ الإعلان عن استضافة الفنانة ماجدة، تلقى آلاف الرسائل والاتصالات من كافة الدول العربية.. لاسيما من الجزائريين الذين أعلنوا تضامنهم معها ومع لبنان؛ لأنها سبق لها أن تضامنت معهم في مأساتهم خلال العشرية السوداء التي أودت بحياة نحو 200 ألف جزائري.يشار إلى الفنانة الكبيرة ماجدة الرومي لم تغن في البرنامج؛ لأنها أعصابها كانت متعبة وتم عرض تقارير تتضمن مقولات لها وأغاني تعبر فيها عن حبها للبنان وأملها في أن يحل السلام، وتفاعل الجمهور بشكل كبير مع أغنية "يا بيروت.. يا ست الدنيا"؛ التي كتب كلماتها الشاعر الكبير نزار قباني.30 عاما من الفن الراقيماجدة الرومي اسمها بالكامل ماجدة حليم الرومي.. من مواليد 13 ديسمبر/كانون الأول عام 1957.. وُلدت في بيتٍ فن راقٍ، فهي ابنة الموسيقار الشهير في لبنان حليم الرومي، الذي كان له دور كبير في بدايات فيروز الفنية.وتأثرت ماجدة الرومي منذ الطفولة بكبار الموسيقيين العرب أمثال: محمد عبد الوهاب والسيدة أم كلثوم وعبد الحليم حافظ وأسمهان، وقد لاحظ رايموند صدفي ابن عم ماجدة أنها تملك صوتًا استثنائيًّا يمكن أن يُحدث ثورةً إن هي احترفت الغناء ثورة، وبالفعل بدأ معها رحلة اكتشاف موهبتها.ورغم أن مشوارها الفني تجاوز الثلاثين عامًا، فإن الملفت للنظر هو قلة ألبوماتها الغنائية؛ فمنذ انطلاق مسيرتها حتى اليوم لم يتجاوز عدد ألبوماتها الغنائية خمسة عشر ألبومًا، منذ الألبوم الأول لها "وداع" عام 1977 إلى "اعتزلت الغرام" 2006.ومع ذلك استطاعت ألبوماتها القليلة حصاد أعلى نسبة مبيعات في الوطن العربي عدة مرات متتالية، مثلما حدث مع ألبومها الناجح "رسائل" الذي أصدر عام 1991، وباع أكثر 50 ألف نسخة في مصر وحدها، ثم تكرر نفس النجاح مع ألبومها "ابحث عني"؛ الذي أصدرته عام 1994 وباع أكثر من نصف مليون نسخة، ولا يزال ألبومها الأخير "اعتزلت الغرام" يحقق مبيعات عالية، رغم كساد سوق الكاسيت.</p>triplemhttp://ikbis.com/triplem/profileUptown Cairo | Cairo, Egypthttp://ikbis.com/triplem/shot/111112Wed May 07 14:41:05 +0300 2008Wed May 07 14:41:05 +0300 2008Wed May 07 14:41:05 +0300 2008<p><a href="http://ikbis.com/triplem/profile">triplem</a> posted a photo:</p>
