one hell of an episode…its the best

As you know Mohammed and I had an interview with the Morning Fix Presenter Addrienne Denaro.

Apparently Energy’s frequency was 97.7 FM not 99.7 FM

My bad…

I am simply horrible when it comes to numbers, which is why i never applied for NASA…

A high ranking NASA official during a press conference.

Reporter 1:

What went wrong? Why did the space shuttle crash killing everyone on board?

NASA official:

We unfortunately asked Mike Derderian to enter the landing coordinates in the computer…we didn’t see that coming…who would have guessed a few centimeters would have caused so much damage…apparently he has (a) number (of) problems…no he is not available for comment…

Oh another thing i forgot to tell you another GREAT thing !!! once George posted a making of clip, and THAT was AMAZING .. maybe you should consider adding a making of at in the end of the rolling credits !!! or maybe clip teasers while you are recording the show ( during the week )

Evening everyone and Amr,
You obviously took the time to write your thorough review of our show…for that thank you.
Many of the things you’ve mentioned fall within the radius of accuracy regarding show productions.
The season is almost over and we will be working more on the show’s second season—God willing.
We will also introduce new segments with higher production levels. We are happy you like the homemade element.
Our purpose is to prove that Jordanian humor exists and we are positive that there are many talented Jordanians out there waiting for the right second, minute, hour, day, week and year to do what we are doing. It happened to us…
The moment we see other people doing shows like ours we will feel proud because we helped in breaking through to the other side as the Jim Morrison song goes, which reminds me of a joke concerning The Door’s vocalist that I wrote a while ago.
Upon his untimely death Jim Morrison was reincarnated as a chicken. Why did he cross the road?
To break on through to the other side….
The first season is our experimental phase as much as it is our coming out as a creative team with a message to deliver to the masses through comedy.
Of course the second season would involve more experimentation on our part…especially in regards to lighting, better sound for some segments and creative photography.
So far things have been good and the more we hear from supporters like you and I just want to thank a certain a young lady whose IKBIS user name is abayazidi, who also took the time to comment like many out there like Moski, Huda, Neddal, Ghassan, Ahmad Humeid, Bashar and Bassam in addition to the creative team behind IKBIS, who are behind us 113 percent.
If you know anyone who has a comment about our show ask them to write it down on IKBIS comment wall or Facebook’s.
Hope we haven’t forgotten anyone—all in all those who were generous with both their time and comments and to those we say thank and keep us on our toes with your comments…
Your points as the points of others will be taken into consideration…honestly…thank you….
Help up us perfect our talent…comedy is one of the hardest genres in humanitarian arts…it is easy to make someone cry but it is harder to make him or her laugh…
You can make someone cry by being mean…whereas to make them laugh you simply have to have Funny Bones (by the way this is the title of a hilarious comedy starring Jerry Lewis, Oliver Reed, Leslie Caron, Oliver Platt and Lee Evans…hilarious movie that you all should watch…especially if you are into slapstick).

Two Homo sapiens and a fly trying to get a hold of a banana in a world governed by apes…

General comments about the production:
01) Sound design is great guys
02) Location scouting is great too
03) I love the fact that it looks home made and un-processed.
04) Very interesting pre-production and research
05) Scripts writing: It is mostly Jordanian and not for everyone, at least in some comments and jokes, but i love most of them

Comments about the individual segments:
00) Opening sequence: great selection for animation subjects !! and sound track is simply great
01) Intro: i love the variation in locations sometimes and then going back to the two red couches
02) Lost in translation: great stuff: and i love that the video looks compressed horizontally
but in this section the sound is not always clear !!!
03) Fonoon: good idea and research, but bad Graphics and implementation, specially the background of the presenter, extremely distracting
04) Z Fly segment: interesting sometime, but if it is not extremely shocking it is boring, it doesn’t have to be in each episode ….
05) Doublaj: this is i believe why everyone is watching this thing !! MASTER PIECE GUYS, put direct attention on this segment, because if you loose your audiences here then i believe you’ll lose everything …and by the ways the ambiance and sound effects you use are extremely convensing !! :) and this is great …
06) Elevator segment: Most smart part in the show …i only wish if you trim the handles of the clip and make it a bit shorter it would look much healthy …. because this segment should feel like “by the way …!!!”
07) Outro segment: i love the fact that we come back to you, and the news thingy…
08) Last goodbye frame: FANTASTIC, amazing research … extend duration by 5 frames only …
09) Ending sequence: very good too, especially when you mix the soundtrack with what’s before it …

General comment about the presenters / team:
- research side: fantastic and very smart actually
- presenters: i believe that you guys can act better with your voices and not with your outlooks, and there is nothing wrong with this… try to listen to the episode and you will understand what i mean …. this could be a radio show … !! thnk about it … maybe on radio al balad …
- filming: i love that fact that the camera work looks SO basic, and this is the real power in the visual experience …. basic and clear … exepr for the fonoun segment ( salatah )
- sound: OUTSTANDING …

Great episode guys, but they go by so quick! Since you guys are taking requests…………… Do a comedy movie, something not that old, do Harold and Kumar 1, or White Chicks :D Oh Breakfast Club (I know it’s an oldie..but Goodie) that would be cool too see too.

oh oh oh!!! amazing choice of the poetry :D mmm can’t really remember what did Samuel Jackson actually said at this part but i remember it was a verse from the bible and this “mu3allaqa” seem to be similar with whatever he said hehehe :D :D :D
