جمال الإقبال على الله جزء 2

Assalamu Alaikum , this halaqa was great! It really touched my heart . I want to thank all the brothers and inchaallah they will enter ‘alferdous alaala’ by this. I have alhamdulilah been blessed with great parents who worked very hard with my sister and I from our youth to follow Islam , especially in a nonmuslim country.(alhamdulilah). Everyday when I ride the train to school ,I go with my hijab and abaya with a great feeling of pride because the reason behind Allah commanding us to cover is for our own protection , so one day a nonmuslim man came up to me in the train and told me" I wish that one day my wife would also cover up her body like you". I was shocked at how a nonmuslim would say that , but subhanallah. I also feel more respected from students , especially males because of the way I cover and because I don’t joke around with them or anything. Subhanallah , you would be shocked to hear that whenever the students in my class would see a muslim girl who wore only a scarf with tight clothings ( May Allah guide us and them to the right path) they would tell her to either cover up fully or be just like them. I mean even though I was born and raised here I was shocked by this comment. Alhamdulilah for everything . So I just wanted to remind my brothers and sisters that if you feel proud of your religion and you present it right to people by being modest and by behaving well , many people would embrace Islam. But sadly , there are not that many. I feel like a knife stabbing me whenever my classmates ask me why I am so good to them even though they are not Muslims. And so when I told them that it was because of Islam they told me “no , it can not be because we have met many Muslims who were not like this”. So we should first fwork on changing ourselves in order to be able to change the world. That is why this program is very important and the brothers working on it will be greatly rewarded from Allah inchaallah. Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to atleast 1 or 2 of his series even though I am very busy with my studies. Inchallah , Allah will guide us all and allow these powerful words sink into our hearts.
