But he is the one who guides us and he is the one who decides our destinies. It is certainly a gift you have been given.

Neddal, I respect your pain. The downtrodden in all societies need special love and attention but they get the least of all. That is why the downtrodden often become hopeless haters, because, how can you be generous when no one ever gives anything to you and only takes.

When helping the downtrodden we must not expect courteous thank yous. we should expect confusion. the downtrodden have often never been taught how to accept a gift and will not trust a gift.

the upper society holds much of the burden in fostering the redemption of these downtrodden peoples as the downtrodden are shortest on desire motivation and hope and often lack the tools to improve thier own condition.

Again Bret u have shown us another impressive video which is teachig us how to be wise while dealing with people and how to present ourselves in a very nice and polite way.
your aim is like ours that is PEACE . we are looking forward this peace since a very long time but there was many obstacles in our way which have icreased our determination to work more efficiently and try all the possible ways to live together with our enemies ( Jews ) in our occupied land Palestine , keeping on mind that it is OUR LAND and we have the total right to live there freely as all nations in this world .
I am Palestinian by origin but i live in jordan and i have the nationality , i love Jordan bcoz i lived all my life there but can you tell me what was my mistake to be prevented from going back to my original country or even to see and touch its soil, it hurts me alot but you can’t feel it like me bcoz you have your own country and you are living there in peace .
People here hate American government bcoz of their attitudes concerning our issues , they used to irritate us by their frequent use of veto in most of our issues , so they destroy our all efforts to make peace , even when the issue is clear and we are totally downtrodden.
Afterall i know it is not your mistake but what we need from you is supporting our ideas in your country and try to make them feel our pain and search the truth themselves .
At last i would like to listen a song from you here in ikbis if u don’t mind , i will be glad to listen it from you , and as Rehab said you can do it Nasheed style .
Always keep on your mind as you are muslim then you are not only a friend to us but you are a brother too.

There is so much I want to say. But I don’t want to bore everyone, but Bret you will always find support on Ikibs and in its members including myself.
And the Prophet once said ( saws) Seek Knowledge from the Cradle to the grave, and that is what you are doing. You are learning to speak the language that you seem to have a thirst for. Your learning Islam and reading the Quran and even memorizing the parts of the Koran. I am born Muslim and yet have so much to learn. Including learning how to read Arabic.
And as far as the Media is concerned, well it is America’s backbone. It so sad to say that people will believe anything and yet so uneducated. I remember once when Clinton was in Office, Jay Leno goes to the streets of LA and asks who is the Vice president? You think they would answer Gore but barely anyone did. Go ask anyone in the street what has happened to Brittney Spears this week and I bet 80% of them will tell ya.
Americans like to point the finger at somebody for the problems of the world (African Americans, Vietnamese) . And now by turn Arabs are looking pretty good to them right now. Peace can be established. The Palestinians and Jews were so peaceful before th e Zionist movement. They were babysitting each others kids for goodness sakes but now with the Zionist taking control of all things great and small. No one seems to point the finger to that direction.

Ahlan, i want to address georges last comment in video but first Vlaundry.
Our collective point of reference is quite elusive in usa as we are a melting pot of faiths. The reference point should be fairness..you are sooo right. Even with my children fighting over a cookie ..one child gets to cut the cookie and the other gets to choose which half she wants , forcing the other to be equitable.
Capitalists are sometimes thinking money but other times just trying to negotiate a world where media constantly makes you feel inadequate until you purchase the products they are selling.

i spent most of my life confusing happiness with pleasure. we americans are encouraged to constantly seek pleasure. it feels to us like happiness but it leaves us empty and wanting more in the end. pleasure is having things done to you or for you while happiness eminates from within you and is a gift from you to humanity. but pleasure is so much more captivating and exciting, like gambling and fancy cars and media keeps us too busy watching silly vidoes and football and forgetting the suffering in the world. thats why ancient roman had the circus and gladiator games to keep us too busy with pleasure that we fail to rise up together for what is right.

that being said people are in greater numbers turning off thier tv and loving thier families and joining peace organizations to care for starving children etc. we just need more exposure to the people that the media tells us we are supposed to hate so we can share the truth of a world at peace. your friend

Man i heard what you just said and i love it but one thing i couldn’t solve in the puzzle !!!
The point of reference ! i mean when you are talking to a muslim he/she could be thinking “Quran / Sunnah” when you are talking to a a capitalist he’ll be thinking “Money” and so on …. so in reality they ALL should agree on a reference … but to me the word peace !! is nice musical but it could work at a later stage but something else should happen before … how about fairness … any suggestions people …. :)

the problem in America (and the west in general) is that people dont study religion, so i think each person should have access to all religions to explore.

there are well over 15 million christians and a small number of jews living in the arab world, and there are no problems at all. we are all arab and live together as a nation. so i dont feel it’s a religion conflict.

i hate the fact that zionists control america and brainwash the people, as a palestinian i am pissed when i hear americans saying palestine is for jews! it should be for everyone, all three religions that started there. i was shocked once when an american told me that we occupied israel so we should let go, people dont know it’s the other way around! and you know what, that’s partly our problem, we do not tend to educate people and explain who we are, unlike the zionists who have great pr and media control. do people know what israeli mps say about christianity and islam in their parliament (keneset) it’s really shocking and insulting, but no one really cares. the bottom line is that america is having problems with arabs because of israel.

there are the neoconservatives on one side and the terrorists on the other side, and to me they are both alike.

i have been to america several times, and there are lovely simple people there that dont know what is happening in the world. and just to confirm, people love america in the arab world, they love the culture and lifestyle even though it’s so different. i mean people wear jeans, you have starbucks all over the place, you have all the american fast food chains, american music, movies, and people in the gulf love american cars more than americans!

so i think it’s really an issue with the government, that is due to zionist control.
