Chicken and vegetables- دجاج مقطع بالخضار

Chicken and vegetables Ingredients: -Chicken cut up -3 Potatoes -4 Carrots -2 Onions -Salt, Pepper, Allspice and Cardamom -1/4 Cup Oil -1 Cup Water -Wash the chicken -Cut up your vegetables into cubes or big slices -Add Oil -Coat the vegetables and chicken with the spice mix -Cook on high heat for 20 minutes, then simmer for at least one hour -Cover with aluminum foil -Cook until chicken and vegetables are fully cooked and the liquids are absorbed. -Broil the top to get a nice golden color. Serve hot with green salad , tabbouleh or fattoush on the side.

You are welcome Huda! i like to cook this dish on the stove top, it becomes like a stew and it stays moist and delicious, all the juices of the chicken and the veggies get mixed together and they become really yummy. you can add any type of veggies you have around the house, depends on what your family likes. thanks for leaving a comment.

Rehab, i like cooking this dish too, it is very easy to prepare and fast to cook, also delicious! you can still serve rice on the side, but i like to hav fresh salads or fattoush next to it. :)

I Love this dish, it’s a familey favorite I like serving it with rice, but i’m gonna try it with fatoosh next time
