Released on April 3, 2007 The single and video appeared on iTunes shortly after midnight EST on April 2, 2007. It became available the day after on iTunes in the UK and Australia. On April 2nd, the song was featured streaming on the front page of the official website. This song differs from the most of Linkin Park's previously released songs in that it features almost no lead vocals from vocalist Mike Shinoda, save for a brief refrain at the end and contributing harmonies throughout. This fact runs in harmony with the fact that the band has changed much of their sound with the new album. "What I've Done" is reportedly the last song that was written for Minutes to Midnight
