Allhu 3lam but Lat al qader can be any day in the last 10 days of Ramadan. The Prophet (saws) has never mentioned a specific day. Scholars will guess maybe its the 27th or the days you mentioned, allhu 3lem. BUT it is advisable to do all of those wonderful things throughout the year and Ramadan especially the last ten days.

Dear my beloved brothere and sisters,-,
I would like to to inform u about Laylat Al khadr which will be approximatley on 25 to 28 of Ramdan,,
try to perform and do one or more of these suggested things ,,
during the Night of Power (Laylat el Khadr)
1. Try to observe it during the last ten days of Ramadan, at the time of sunrise, during the days and the nights.
2. On the nights one may spend the time collectively and/or individually observing the following activities:
a. Recitation of the Our’a-n.
b. Prayers-Nafl after Taraweeh.
c. Remembrance of Allah or zikr
d. Supplication or Du’a for you and for others.
e. Pondering and contemplating into the universe, the creation of the Heavens and the Earth: ”...and they contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heaven and the earth….”(3:191)
f. Reading books of Hadeeth so as to enjoy the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
g. Reading Tafseer of Qur’an.
h. Giving charity to others if you can afford it.
i. Trying to explain Islam, if you know something about it, to those next to you so they will benefit from you.
The Night of Power is a very important occasion in Islam. Everyone is asked to live it and to enjoy it. This Night is a night of Mercy, a night of Blessing, a night of Peace and a night of Guidance. It is a night of Unification between the finite world of ours and the Infinite Universe of the Unseen.
Anyone who is interested in attaining the Mercy of Allah will strive very hard to look for the Night of Power. Anyone who is interested in receiving the blessings of Allah on the Blessed Night will work very hard to enjoy the Night of Power. Anyone who is interested in attaining peace of mind, peace of body and peace in society, he has to look for this Night and to live it.
May Allah give us the strength, the power, the courage and the effort to do our best to obey Allah and to follow His teachings. May Allah guide us and may Allah strengthen our Iman May Allah help us to live another year with sincerity and devotion. May Allah make us realize that one year of our life is over and that we are one year closer to our graves.
Let us wake up and do our best to please Allah in our daily life. Let us ask Almighty Allah forgiveness. Ameen.

magribi?? Why are they only taking money from some and not others? Please ask interviewees to be careful about not making insults or judgments and to claim only their experience in suffering so as not to alienate the naive new audience who will be shocked by thier stories.
this laziness is not laziness perhaps but apathy from powerlessness?Americans are just as corrupt. every culture has corruption somewhere in its history. I will suggest that people who dont want to be seen on camera can film their front yard while they talk. it would be powerful.
I refuse to believe that most arabs hate each other,they are just unhappy perhaps with thier lives and have lost their ability to connect on a human level.You and I george are every man woman and child on earth, just as loving and just as wounded and just as human.

Hey Bret, thank you for the previous reply and this video! i was unable to reply because i traveled, i’m now in Jerusalem for a few days, so hopefully i’ll post some videos from occupied Jerusalem if possible :)
Regarding the last video, Arab are rich, we have all the Oil, gas and other natural resources, can you imagine what even a country like Sudan and Egypt can do with the Nile?! Unfortunately, a lot of corruption is happening in the Arab world and i will embed a video i just saw about Morocco! Shocking …
As for hatred, Arab hate each other (of course it doesnt apply on everyone, but it’s so common), and the way it goes is funny, like one country hates the other (i will not give examples though there are many) then within a country cities making fun of each other, then villages and even families.
Your idea is great, i like the name! “Darb Aldumou” maybe the whole thing could be Arabs and Americans explaining their sides. Anyway, the idea is cool, as Ahmad said, there should be a channel for that, and it should be promoted on Ikbis and other media, such as blogs! Their are two things that the Arabs are not good at unfortunately, and i hope that changes soon! People are lazy, they’d rather share a video they found on the internet or got by email than do their own videos, the other thing people dont like to go on camera! i was really surprised when i saw the Aboud video for example.
So i suggest someone does an introductory video about the idea, and people start posting their videos under that video as comments. i suffered much less than a lot of Palestinians, but i have a few stories of my own :)

You should say just what you wrote” I`m afraid I might look like a poser because I havent experience the worst abuse” American people will love to see that you have candor and honesty and insecurity because it will make them aware that you think and care and worry and love and are insecure the same way they are. This is the real substance of this campaign. When should I forward this to my 300 non muslim friends? Im thinking we first need to get a real brainstorming session going. Could someone from IKBIS make a montage of all the videos we produce for this with a common phrase that every video maker opens his/her video with? like.”.Hello America, we are the people of the middle east and we want to get to know you better or we love you or hello from (state your homeland)”.???

I think it would be cool to do that but would the guys who run ikbis allow it? And also to tell you the truth I never lived in Palestine, I’ve only visited there once, but our original city (GIMZO) was taken from the Palestinians in 1948, and now most Gimzawie people that are left in Pali live in Der Dibwan which is a nice place, allhamaduellah they don’t have to go through what people in Jenin or Gaza are going through. I’m afraid if I did a vid, I would look like a poser who never really felt pain or went through hardship (even though members of my familey did), but at the same time I feel the pain that those people (Jenin, Gaza, etc.) are going through.

America doesnt know you are right . THey only know images of war and rage that portray the middle eastern heart as something less than thiers. Would you forward this video to all your friends? I dont want to forward this to all my non muslim friends yet because i want us all first to agree that we have interest and sufficient numbers to create momnentum. THe cartoon issue is a whole other thing. people should understand that the downtrodden have usually lost thier sense of humor about issues that they see as trivial and you see as sacred. they just want to sell papers and they successfully stirred up so much anger from middle easterners that they were able to discount your complaint and justify their action.

For a noble aim we will put our hand in your hand and we can start on ikbis .
But do you think Bret that any one will understand us ? the problem is that westren people know that we are right but avoid supporting us , this is simply clear when they have forbidden Hijab and they know that it is one of the basic islamic feature for the muslim women , also when that stupid cartoonist has drawn bad pictures about our prophet , wasn’t he aware that he is touching a very sensitive issue and he is hurting the feelings of 1.3 billion muslim around the world .
As Palestinians we have used the media as our simplest weapon thinking that it may help us resolving our issue , but unfortunately our voice don’t reach to the concerned authorities , but still we have strong believe that once we will get our land back and live peacefully there , even if we don’t success then our sons will success and we will remain pessimistic as far as our other muslim brothers are supporting us .

I always say that we have a branding problem… The whole Middle East needs to be re-branded, not only for the sake of others, but also for the sake of us. We need to have a positive image about ourselves.
But you know what… you will be amazed how much people here know about America while lots of people inside America know nothing about the outside…
Believe me… we are really good people, emotional, generous and like to help. We don’t know how to ask for our rights, therefore most of the time we lose it.
Anyway its hard to talk about people in general, because everyone in the world is different than the other. In each nation there is the good and the bad.
